An award-winning landscape architect with more than 45 years of experience, Chip has led complex planning, landscape architecture, and urban design projects in 24 countries across the globe.

As Founding Principal of Kanopi Gap, Chip brings together proven expertise, fresh thinking, and a highly collaborative approach to every challenge. He has a unique ability to connect with clients, inspire creative thinking, and bring people together around ideas that lead to meaningful, lasting solutions. Throughout his career, he has championed the role of landscape architecture in creating inspiring, resilient, and people-centered places that improve quality of life and strengthen communities.

Chip is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Past President of the Landscape Architecture Foundation, former Chair of the ULI St. Louis District Council, and a Kansas State University Alumni Fellow.
